Senior Network Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing enterprise network infrastructure that supports business operations across multiple locations. You will ensure high network availability, optimize performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security best practices to protect critical systems.

As a Network Administrator, you will work closely with system administrators, cloud engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and help desk teams to deploy reliable networking solutions. You will manage LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud networking services while ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Administer LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Troubleshoot network outages, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement network security best practices and access control policies.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NAT, and routing protocols.
• Perform network backups, upgrades, and firmware updates.
• Monitor network logs and respond to security incidents.
• Collaborate with cloud and security teams to support hybrid cloud environments.
• Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
• Recommend network improvements and emerging technologies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless networking.
• Experience configuring Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, Fortinet, or Ubiquiti networking equipment.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and network security.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory.
• Experience with cloud networking services in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or Zabbix.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, JNCIA, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
